To be transparent and forthcoming with the students about the school and their education is the best culture of compliance.

I like to keep grading simple to 100 points exam, so I can easily and efficiently show the students their percentage scores.  Also, keeping up with the homework policy and extra credit points reasonable, in order to avoid having to defend your policies to your students.

I like the idea of having a plan B in place and re-directing the students attention by changing their activities.  Also, I like the tip about giving the students a pretest to get to know how I should set up the instruction and learning material.

Thanks for sharing that traditional methods of teaching tools such as posters and flip boards are still just as effective to use as the modern media.  As a student who learned in an era with traditional teaching tools, I too still enjoy implementing these in my class instruction.

I enjoyed learning that taking the time to pause for 20 seconds and observe the students/class is a great way to keep in tune to everyone's learning needs.  Also, I liked the tip about adding more color to the print outs and having all the lecturing/handout tools out and ready for the students.

In my vast years of being a Manager in my work place, I have always aspired to become a more effective Leader.  This course has helped me understand the intricate differences and similarities of both Management and Leadership.  I am even more so motivated to implement the Leadership styles I have learned in this course with my already existing, Management skills.

I learned a lot about myself, I learned that I am more of a  manager and my goal has always been to be a leader.  I've also learned that it actually, truly takes a combination of both Management and Leadership skills to motivate teams and get the job done.
