Real life problem solving - current, active - read, write, discuss - more relatable for the student. Once the student researches on his own then he becomes the expert on the topic. Opinions may change once further research and discussion occirs.
Help with time management by being consistent with assessments form the beginning. Guild by having students lead themselves - learn each other's strengths and weaknesses then share project duties. They need to understand the material not just memorize it.
Keep updated on technology and access for students. Be creative in providing activities.
Student is responsible for their own learning - I am just there as their coach. Engage them in thinking.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
