As an online instructor, posting a warm welcome message is critical to address the content as covered in this section. In my first live session, I discuss how online my online course is conducted and my expectations for students.
This is a good module for overall preparation of a course for traditional university setting. As an online instructor teaching an already designed course with a pre-generated syllabus. this section was not as relevant.
My personal mantra is to always keep learning and growing; part of mentorship of our students, which coincides with professional development, is to role model the process of learning.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
