Learning how to keep course records, communication with the students, dealing with different types of students and behaviors and minimizing student attrition rate and help them stay with the course.  The whole point is to make sure we are making any and all efforts to control and communicate with the student.

Asynchonous teaching allows everyone to participate but you need to make sure you are engaging all participates.

Build a relationship with your students even though it is virtual and online.  Engage with them and encourage them to engage with each other.

Need to have techinal and instructor support to have the student feel supported as they go through online teaching. Make sure all areas of the class is written and explained thoroughly for the student to know what is transpiring in the class.
