The item that I learned from this section was regarding the DNC list.  I was not aware that there is a 3-month window to open calls up if the person requests info or requests a call after being placed on a DNC list.

When we create transparency with a prospective student, it forms the basis of the bond of trust.  That is what is needed to form that lasting bond with a student that results in retention and ultimately graduation and hopefully their aspirations realized.  When a student feels that you will be honest with them - really honest.... they will, in turn be honest with you.

I am appreciating this course, as it refreshes the things I first learned almost 10 yesrs ago.  Some things have tightened up but the one thing that I hadn't remembered was the military piece.  Being clear and concise with any student you speak with is so important - especially when it comes to outcomes.  Parents especially love to know grad rates, placement rates, etc....  

This is so true and one bad seed can ruin so much for so many.  Whether its an employee who doesn't respect the level of integrity the school must have and keep or a disgruntled student who may bash the school on social media.  It could also feed into gossip about rival schools. Always operate above reproach.
