Activity

I like the idea of the attention span, breaking material up, and using active teaching methods.

Setting expectations, making the students feel that they will be able to achieve their goals.

This was a very good module. I enjoyed reading about the same challenges we all seem to face. The checklist idea is something I use, but there are many days that I am not fully prepared.

I enjoyed the Harvard posts. Enthusiasm and professionalism, along with content knowledge, are the keys.

Helping to learn and adapt to critical thinking.

Grading by the rubric keeps things fair and consistent.

This requires commitment and understanding of technology, as well as being able to invest the time.

This is a change from past lerning, where the teacher controlled the process.

Comment on claire wilson's post: also interaction

Students must be held accountable. They may think online is easier, but there are so many obstacles. They need to be prepared, and willing to learn.
