 The common theme with this section is that in order to be a good teacher, you'd have to be prepared, competent and intentional in the deliver of the content that you want to teach. Active learning is not only engaging the students by asking questions but creating a rapport with them. 

First impression is important. I'll make it a point to learn all the students' names and create an environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and motivated to participate.

Being prepared by reviewing contents and gathering needed supplies creates confidence in the instructor as well as the students. Present myself as a human first then as an instructor. 

I've learned that to teach also means to lead with example. I should be the embodiment of professionalism, starting with the way I dress, speak and manners. Being prepared for the course is critical for success.
