Be the example of a professional in the field to the student

I have learned that we need to lead by example, our students watch everything we do in the classroom.  Being prepared is a must, and being able to have patience is also a must.  I know that communication is key to the classroom, giving clear, descriptive expectations and how to achieve them is so important.
