Activity

Some things I took away from this module were record keeping, conflict resolution and preventing attrition.  I think I can relate to sometimes wanting to back out of online learning, mostly scheduling out time and keeping to it.

I leaned about the various types of learning styles that present problems to e-learning, and was interested to note that my eldest son falls under the competitive style, he really does see it as pass/fail most of the times.  It was was also interesting to learn the difference between synchronous and asychronous learners.

I learned the importance of maintaining the teacher student relationship for better student comprehension.  When they know you care the more willing they are to seek out your help, and the more willing they are to taking instruction.

I learned about the CMS framework and the basic layout and questions to ask for setting up how I need to present the content and material.  I agree that a student will lean more in a comfortable environment with the knowledge that they will receive the support needed to succeed.  I look forward to learn all I can to use online education.
