I have learned that attentions spans will vary but to keep this in mind as well as learning styles. Trying to incorporate different styles will be helpful. 

Learning names and modeling appropriate behavior will be important. Motivating each student as a class will keep up the excitement of learning about new topics.

Setting goals, planning ahead of time and being clear with the objectives and what the students should expect is what I took out of this course. The importance of dividing the course up in to logical units will be a focus. Arriving early is crucial in showing the students that you are prepared for the day.
