Thomas, Good evening...training is the key to understanding. Weekly meetings are great opportunity to introduce new policies or procedural changes to a team. An idea is to review a section of the catalog each week to insure that everyone understands tthe catalog in it's entirety. Cindy Bryant
Rodney, While asking students if they know anyone who wants to receive an education is the easiest and most direct way to solicit referrals...what makes it easier for the students to say "yes"? Cindy Bryant

Stephanie, You have several valid points...can you think of some ways that career colleges can positively impact the media?? Cindy Bryant

Heather, Thank you for sharing what California is in the way of consumer protections. Cindy Bryant
Taylor, This is a great approach! You should always avoid disparaging remarks about competitor institutions. This will minimize the risk of litigation and will show the prospective students that you are ethical and want to "do the right thing." Cindy Bryant
Heather, Standardization is a wonderful way for accreditors and licensing agents to easily audit and assist schools with staying on the right track. Do you think that the Department of Education was attempting to standardize all schools or just career schools when they wrote the gainful employment rules? Cindy Bryant
Taylor, Checklists are a great way to guide students so that they will stay in compliance. Campuses use checklists for everything from student files to classroom/lab safety. Cindy Bryant
Annette, Training is a great non-monetary motivational strategy...the better prepared a team is the more confident they become in their daily duties. Cindy Bryant

Annette, Welcome! Cross training is a great way to prepare faculty and staff to answer questions that normally would be outside their realm of knowledge. Also the more that admissions understands about each program the better they are prepared to discuss the different facets with the prospective students. Cindy Bryant
