Hi James, You are correct. You may ask for referrals as long as there is no reward involved.

James, Mediation is a powerful tool. You are right sometimes the injured party needs a different perspective or a third party to keep everything calm.
James, I like the idea of the company wide email. This brings the students name to everyone's attention.
James, You bring up an excellent point. Many times institutions wait until their inventory is exhausted to order materials. When this occurs you run the risk of materials not being available to students. On occasion a book will not be available due to being on back order, version change, etc...
Debbie, This makes sense, if a student does not want to be bothered with phone calls. However, I do agree that the safety of an individual should be first and foremost which would supercede a DNC request.

Kimberly, This is good advice for newcomers. Your favorite tab can be critical when you need something in a hurry.
Good Afternoon Kimberly, Based on your prior comment it sounds like you have a lot of experience in organizing materials for students. Fortunately, you understand the importance of receiving the books on time.
Hi Adrian, You answer was very thorough. It seems as if all bases are covered with this process. Thanks
