Beverly, As a registrar you play a vital role in the institution being in compliance. Your records must be accurate at all times. You also must rely on individuals to supply you with accurate information.

Hi Thom, Stitch ins are very effective. They allow the students to become comfortable with each other, get to know the school and allows the school to predict accurate start numbers.

Hi Chris, It is a safe practice to refer a student to another source when you are unsure of the answer.

Melisa, At one point in my career I thought that inventory was very easy to manage. This is not always the case. There are many variables that affect inventory. A few of those variables are, backorders, edition changes, unexpected increase in start numbers, etc...

Hi Beverly, You bring up scheduling changes, students need to be aware up front that their schedule could change in the future. It is best that the student is never surprised.
