Curtis, It is very common for titles to be intimidating. It takes some time to explain the course objectives and calm their fears. Thank you for reminding everyone how frightening the experience CAN BE for students. Cindy Bryant

Debra, A story about a graduate that gets a job and is able to support his family would not be news worthy in itself. But imagine this, 300 people graduate and get a job to take care of 300 families in a time when jobs are scarce and challenging to find. Keep providing the media information regarding every graduate and graduation success story. Cindy Bryant

Ruben, By "saying anything to close the deal" indicates that the integrity of education has been compromised. An admissions representative are just a much a part of the educational process as the faculty. Cindy Bryant
Karen, I am very pleased that as a new employee you have found this course helpful. Another key statemenet that I would like to point out is "I do know this institution follows the letter of the law (Federal and State Regulations) to a T,..." You must have trust in your organization the same as students must trust you. Cindy Bryant
Molly, These are two solid processes that will help you avoid future problems with DNC. Cindy Bryant
Chrissy, Asking a student to contact the school personally generally makes the admissions representative nervous. In this situation they relinquish control of the situation. I will say this is a solid practice to avoi violating the DNC guidelines. Cindy Bryant
