Jamie, The syllabus does not have any federal requirements (The USDE does not regulate academic content) There are accrediting standards that may address your syllabi and how it is developed, especially in relation to programmatic approvals. Cindy Bryant

Jamie, The best defense against these types of threats is to clearly document the incident and make the administration aware of these activities. You will always run up against these types of situations but once students understand that this will not be tolerated they will subside. Cindy Bryant

Kandy, Disclosing the required dress code, physical demands, and clinical rotation requirements which include miles that they may have to travel & amount of time required in clinical site to graduate is very impressive. This type of disclosure is extremely beneficial to the student when making a decision about their education. Cindy Bryant

Kristen, Suggestion boxes can be very powerful. How does your campus handle the suggestions placed in the box? We used to publish a newsletter that indicated how we resolved issues that were placed in the suggestion box-this was well received. Cindy Bryant
