Travis, Agreed that the disclosures create the foundation in which students should make their decisions however many times students are driven from an emotional base that overrules their ability to see the disclosures for what they are. Creating an environment where the student is comfortable asking questions and reviewing the disclosures carefully will help the student make better decisions. Cindy Bryant

Dennis, I am glad that mention contacts, the students references are a critical piece to default management. If you are unable to locate a student and have meaningful conversation then you can not impact your institution's loan repayment of default metrics.
