Crystal, Many times when people are at a low point in their life their decision making is skewed. If a school wants students to have the highest opportunity to graduate then they should strive to enroll students who are solid in their decision. Cindy Bryant

Carolyn, The level of communication with in a school can make a big difference. For instance, if a student stops by the financial aid office and inquires about their loan amount this could be an indicator that the student is considering dropping. If the FA office were to alert the Dean or student advisers they may be able to intervene on the students behalf. This is just one of many examples of how communication is effective. Cindy Bryant
