Vicki, Thank you so much for your response. Cindy Bryant
Erica, Welcome to the Forum. You have referenced a very important detail of financial aid, discussion vs. disbursement. One person enrolls the student, a different person discusses the finances, a different person disburses the funds. Cindy Bryant
Carlos, Thanks for participating in the forum. You are right, if you are in doubt, get back to the student. Cindy Bryant

Elizabeth, While I understand your point in this situation I have to wonder if a person going through hard times is emotionally prepared to undertake such a demanding role. The key is to ensure that a person is mentally and physically able to go to school or just holding on to a last chance effort. Cindy Bryant
Charles, While accreditation is important and gives the institution credibility it can be easily misrepresented. Can you think of some ways that a school could misrepresent their accreditation? Cindy Bryant

Shaine, Employees are a reflection and representation of the organization. It is important that they are trained to give accurate responses to common/general questions. Equality is a critical piece of management, everyone needs to feel as if they are just as important as the next person in creating the schools image. Cindy Bryant

Cherie, Having an Executive Director meet with the student for exit counseling is major commitment. What if the student has questions regarding their financial aid loans and indebtedness? Who answers those types of questions? Cindy Bryant

Vicki, Hi! It sounds as if the iGrad system will be very beneficial to your students. You mention that exit counseling will be part of orientation, is this possible? At the time of graduation a students loan profile could have changed with interest, etc. Cindy Bryant

Ronald, Thanks for your rapid response. I can not argue with such truths. It seems as if technology begat more technology.I notice that younger people prefer to communicate via text than face to face. As a society we should really work on that. :) Cindy Bryant
Erica, You bring up an excellent point regarding student referrals. I have observed some Admissions Representatives ave a current student complete an a referral card just so they can say that they have accomplished the task. If the referral is not interested in education this work has been done in vain. My mantra was always to focus on those who want to continue their education and your enrollments will be solid.
