Kit, Hi! There is great article in the science daily that deals with stress and decision making. It spotlights that when people who are under stress and are making a difficult decision, they may pay more attention to the upsides of the alternatives they're considering and less to the downsides. The article is an outstanding read, I have provided the link-http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/02/120228114308.htm. Science Daily Cindy Bryant
Kit, Great question. If the student has not ask you to cease calling then you should continue to call about their absences. Personally, I would avoid conversation regarding their personal issues and direct them to student services. I would not advocate going around the regulation unless there was a serious concern for the student. Cindy Bryant

John, There are many programs that assist new employees with a better understanding of the policies and procedures. A great method is to provide new employees with a mentor to help them maneuver the daily challenges of their new surroundings. Cindy Bryant
Miso, The impact of the Program Integrity rules has been cumbersome but overall positive. The institutions that have not always practiced with integrity have been forced into compliance and those that have attempted to do the right thing have raised the bar even higher. Cindy Bryant
Jopha, Hi! If the student contacts you, you have up to 90 days to contact them, unless they tell you they are no longer interested. If they express to be removed then you must remove them. Cindy Bryant
