Richard , Hi! Welcome to the forum. Just for the sake of argument, how could regulations help if a person is deceptive? Cindy Bryant
Jennifer, Recognition is very powerful and it is exactly what many people crave. If you had to choose just one type of reward that motivated you, would it be recognition? Cindy Bryant

Elizabeth, Faculty members are held in high regard and when a student challenges them they feel that they may lose respect in the students eyes if they back away. At the end of the day I believe it is fair to say that the faculty member will gain respect if they handle them self with professionalism and integrity and admit their mistake. Cindy Bryant

Shannon, While I agree that Exits should provide the students with the necessary information to be responsible when handling their loans -- there should never be any surprises. The Entrance interview should cover everything the student should know and then some. By the Exit the student should need to know the balance of their loan and lender (if changed). Cindy Bryant
Steven, There will always be rules and regulations that govern how schools will handle certain situations with disclosures being one of them. However, the true to key to retention is, just as you mentioned, dedicated faculty. Faculty members set the bar in retention through their interactions with students. Thanks for the reminder.
