Michelle, I believe that surveys are only as good as the people who read them and follow up on the concerns. Thanks for sharing. Cindy Bryant

Robert, WOW!When you compare student debt to credit card debt it really puts it in perspective. Especially since we understand that the U.S. has more credit card debt than any other country. Cindy Bryant

Maria, Great use of the catalog. Learning to communicate effectively and knowing where to find information is important to any profession. Thanks for the reminder. Cindy Bryant

Barrie, Many times part-time instructors have other job responsibilities and can not always attend in-services or workshops where information/training may be imparted this makes relying on the catalog critical. Thanks for sharing. Cindy Bryant

Elizabeth, I can imagine that students preconceived expectations do not always match your job description. This makes it difficult to address their concerns. The overall level of satisfaction for the student is a new career but they have to assume 80% of the responsibility to make this happen. Cindy Bryant

Julian, If a school practices ethically then the word will be spread by the students and the population will increase. Doing the right thing is critical. Cindy Bryant

Tiffany, Thank you for sharing your comments. You made an excellent point regarding unemployment and education. Their are so many people today with college degrees that are unemployed or underemployed. People have to make their own decision, without any outside influences, whether or not they need an education or additional training. Cindy Bryant

Ronald, I agree, the first step should be to resolve the issue with the instructor-if the concern is regarding the instructor-normally all concerns should be addressed with the person of concern. However, many times students are intimidated to discuss the issue with the person because they are afraid of retaliation. How can a school reduce the risk of retaliation to calm the students fears?
