Active learning can save headache. Instructors can help the students develop time management skills.
The instructor must ensure that the technology is working prior to class as technology can add to the students' frustration if it not working on the instructor's part or the student. Using active learning the students will take the initiative in their learning.
It is good to have a note pad to jot down things you need to recall for that day. It is great to have a checklist to check off what needed to be done or taught that day.
I have learned that modeling professionalism for my students to follow is highly important. Know the topics you are teaching and become confident with your teaching. Practice, practice, practice to become confident. Be on time for class.
Listening to your students, encouraging them, and supporting them is very important.
It definitely depend on the supervisor. Everyone is different therefore when it comes to human being we cannot generalize.
