About me
I got into the medical field via the US Army. After leaving the military, I raised a large family and then went back to school. I have 8 college degrees (3 AS, 2 BS, 2 MS, & 1 PhD) along with 5 licenses in imaging modalities. I spent many years working with patients in the field, and now teach at a private college.

Introduce topic, lecture and discuss for 15-20 minutes, answer questions for 5 minutes, give a 5 minute break.
By giving the students a break every 25 minutes, they are better able to remember and process the information provided.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
