In this module I learned the importance of being familiar with the institution's guidelines and policies. Communication is so important especially when it comes to different personalities. Good record keeping is important to document and easily retrieve information when needed. 

I learned this module the difference between synchronous and non synchronous discussions. Synchronous discussions are not recommended with critical courses it's best to use synchronous discussions when dealing with one student at a time. Not every student has one style of learning.

The importance of having an instructor's presence be known to their students so that they will feel more comfortable and secure knowing that instructor is supportive to their success. Also the importance of biographies from an instructor and student to help form an interactive relationship that is beneficial to the student feeling more comfortable and secure as well as respecting their instructor on a personal level.

I've learned that a Course Management System delivers for students and what it also provides for instructors. Becoming familiar with course structures and each instructor may present information differently. Reviewing and fully comprehend your roles and responsibilities as an online instructor is important. Technical support is crucial to the success of any e-learning course. Instructors need to familiarize themselves with the delivery techniques and strategies that work best for them.
