In a lot of ways this section mirrors the issues in face to face instruction. E-learning will have a different twist on those issues and thus different ways to handle them. I am interested to compare the issues from face to face to online instruction.

This is very good information about how to engage all students, but particularly reluctant students. I think the online format will make it easier to engage these students than in face to face instruction.

Connecting with each student personally should be accomplished early in the course so that students ferl comfortable and know how to ask for help.

This course gives all the elements needed for an effective on line course. Most of it is common sense once you understand the technology. I am already familiar with most of it, but some of it will require me to learn as I go.
