Activity

Peer feedback provides students with the opportunity to take and give constructive feedback, which is essential skill required in professional settings.

During live lectures, traditional instructor-led conversations (instructor speaks -> students listen and respond) may be better suited for Asynchronous settings. To maximize student participation and comprehension, a live problem-solving lecture might be more productive.

Having elements of both Synchronous and Asynchronous interactions may improve the student learning experience.

To achieve higher levels of information retention, course content should be a combination of quality media and a high level of intellectual interaction.
