Learning about the 5 part framework provided a different way to understanding partnerships with employers and ensuring they are valuable both ways. 

One takeaway for me is that the job search isn’t linear, and people approach it differently depending on where they are. Some are still exploring, while others are more ready to act, so that difference matters.

There was also a strong focus on being more targeted instead of just applying everywhere. That includes being intentional about how someone presents themselves, especially on LinkedIn, and how they go after roles and connections.

What stood out to me from this unit is the importance of approaching the job search as a process that looks different for everyone. Individuals can be at very different points, and their reactions to the process can vary, so it’s important to meet them where they are and help them keep moving forward. The idea of using a growth mindset was also emphasized, particularly in how people interpret setbacks or challenges along the way.
