Yes, this module is a good reminder that the institution guidelines and policies are being followed as it might be easier to 'slip' or allow a student to go into behaviors that if early intervention is not made, retention may be an issue. 

I truly liked this module. Particularly the new students bio and introduction ideas. I truly like interacting with the students, knowing more about them with a small bio encourages them as it shows them we care about them individually and not only see them as a "number" behind a computer screen. 

I learned that the online instructor must prepare as much or more than other instructors. Also that the level of comfort and trust a student has on the class, instructor and delivery is quite contingent on the instructor's preparedness. 

I agree. Being a clinician before a teacher I could always trust HIPPA and to find FERPA in place has been such a change from when I was a student. Definitely became aware of deliverying grades and assignment results in private.
