I learned how to help a shy student become more comfortable by creating small groups to work in. I also learned the type of students I may encounter.

I think it's a great idea to encourage students who live in the same area to meet up for discussions. I will definitely encourage my next class to do that.

I have learned that as an instructor I need to familiarize myself with all components of the platform, including how to create assignments, due dates and how to mute a participate in a discussion.
