I have learned many good strategies to manage students in this career college. I used to struggle in dealing with students to get their attention. I learned the technique already, so  i hope my teaching ability wil improve.

I have been a nurse intructor for eight years now, and i encountered different kinds of students from all walks of life. Yes, all the descriptions of a good teacher will really help us handle these students, but the most important for me is setting limits to whatever  they  do. If they go beyond thier bounderies and especially our bounderies they have to be stopped. I teach them the virtue of self- discipline from the start because this is much needed when they are already dealing with their clients.

This course needs to be repeated every now and then because it is interesting how we should deal with ourself as well as the studends.

Adult learners is a special group of student population in the sense that they have some acquired knowledge, developed their own skills and habits which need to be reinforced, improved or sometimes corrected. They come to the college for formal training in the hope the that they will pass the course and be certifide to prove their proficiency. These learners are self motivated because of their standing in life. After reading and understanding this course, I can now think of  ways to impart my knowledge and skills. and be able to have graduates who will be appreciated in their workplaces.… >>>
