Student success doesn't soleley rely on method of instruction delivery. It doesn.t really make a diffrence if whether its though online, or face to face or a combination of both. Also most online learners are adults who live a busy life and often have family and children undre 18 at home.

If the students does not feel welcome or not comfortable at the school or teacher, they most likely will nt do as well as those who has a god realtionship with the tecahers and school. I believe a student will put more effort into learning when they have a good relationship and fell supported by the school and tecaher.

Having a disruptive student in the class can be really challenging. It wastes valuable instructional time and throws off the classroom dynamic. I teach middle school and when a student gets out of hand, its easy to call an administrator for help. During live meeating, as as teacher I can mute students' microphone so that there won't be any sounds other than my own mic. And addressing the problem at a later time can hopefully help. Also, keeping records of chats and emails, or any other form of student teacher communication ois another thing I can appply to distance learning. … >>>

Learning about synchronous and asynchronous meetings/discussion, and which one to use at different scenarios. I will be utilizing both since I do live lessons with my studentsz

Finding something in common with the students, sharing some personal experiences that they can relate to can be a good ice breaker in establishing a teacher-student rapport. It doesn't have to be super personal but maybe like a hobby like playing video games or the type of music you listen to or maybe a favorite movie, tv shows or food. I teach computer science and I enjoy playing video games and when I tell my students that I play, it immediately becomes a conversation.

Looking at the tasks that involves different strategies on content delivery, I didn't realize there are so much more to it compared to traditional teaching in the classroom. THe one thing that stood out to me is locking the assignments so that students don't move forward on lessons and activities. I never really gave quizzes since everything I do in the classroom in very hands on but I will have to consider doing that moving forward.
