I had a student the try to tell me that Abe Lincoln was elected in 1992 and it must be fact because she found it on the internet. I was not able to convince student that her information was incorrect. She kept stating that she found it on the internet and she was sticking with it. I was able to convince her to leave her "fact" out of the presentation. This discussion did not take place during class.
