@scmeaux : Sometimes sharing things, that patients made have said while doing a initial assesment/admission or situation in practice that you have done being young (new in the practice)  in hopes that won't make the same blunder. Maybe you did not ask the questions or phase the properly and got.

This is a lol response. I had a thought that using certain coping mechanism may be stressful to people like the thought of exercising. LOL Now seriously, I have tried it, just getting up taking a brisk walk and stretching after a long meeting can be very refreshing.

I love your blog. Well stated.

I have mixed emotions, I have a college aged son and two school age sons. I am very concerned with all of thier academic process. I know sometimes it's hard for student who may have learning disabilities to advocate for them selves. I think you  need to have more information about the student  to determine if they need more guidance than others whether it's the parent or and another adult. So, I guess I may be a helicopter parent, the term is not degrading to me, I would rather be called an advocate.

I agree, I like smaller class size as an instructor and as a adult learner.

I can remember being a student and of one my professor told the class, the first day that we were her employer, pay her salary and we should expect to get our monies worth of her time. So, she was on time and finish on time at every class.
