Compliance is doing the right thing.  Culture of compliance is doing the right thing all the time regardless of circumstances.

Understanding the institution's mission statement helps make sure that the teachers activities are in alignment with the organization's mission. 

I have always included community service in the course plan for my graduating nursing class to introduce them to the service aspect of nursing expectations.

This course has given me ideas on how to  introduce the course to the students to make them understand the rationale for the community service projects.

As students enter the career colleges for professional training such as nursing, they enter with various knowledge base, study habits and motivations.  The individualized adaptive learning tool will assist students achieve the objectives with less frustration and reduce the drop out rate.   

Most of my students work full-time jobs and attend class in the evening after work, therefore, it is difficult for most of them to stay focussed and get the full benefit of the classroom lecture when pure lecture method is utilized.  I find that my students are able to retain lecture materials better when active learning methods are utilized.  If I have materials that can only be delivered through pure lecture, I provide that information during the first quarter of the lecture time and utilize active learning method for the rest of the lecture.  I find out that my students are very… >>>
