I learned you must use many different tools for course revision that reflect what various stakeholders need.

Assessment plans are not just for the student; they show where a learning deficit occurred. This will help you see what you did not teach effectively. Formative assessment is crucial to keeping your students and class on target. It will help you and your students better understand whether course progression is on target or if you need to help the student in an area where they feel lost. 

Setting communication guidelines in the syllabus is a must. I also like the FAQ page, where students can go for help without judgment. I have used this before in an online class I took and found it very helpful. No one has all the answers, and teaching students to ask for help and share in a community is great.

I liked the idea of putting a red box around important information and a blue box around information that will specifically be related to testing. Having that throughout my program will help students tremendously, 

It would be best if you were organized online; so many tasks need to be done correctly to engage students, have them participate, and make them feel heard and important. Assessment is critical and there are multiple ways to teach, you need to use the best format for the lesson, not always just lecture. Use color and your imagination,

unlimited answering in quizzed help the student with retention and feeling confident they know the reasons behind why it is the correct answer.

Synchronous and Asynchronous systems have benefits online. The use of a guest speaker is a good idea.
