Continuous evaluation of the courses effectiveness and ability to meet students' needs is an important aspect of the teacher's job.

Regardless of a teaecher's style, they must be sure to use all technology tools to support their students' success as they work through both synchronous and asynchronous learning. Specific feedback is one of the most important ways a teacher supports and furthers their students' learning.

Using a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities according to the needs of the students, teacher and learning goals is essential to good learning outcomes.

It is very important to match the technology tool you're using to the needs of the students, and to meeting the learning goals.

Getting feedback on your course from multiple avenues is important to continuous improvement.

I will be sure to use rubrics correctly, and give student feedback in such a way that it provides more learning for the student.

A syllabus must be dynamic rather than just a one-dimensional text document listing objectives, etc.

Developing an online community requires proactive effort and the appropriate web tools or apps.

Communication comes in many different forms, depending on who is communicating with whom. It can be the one of the most critical indicators of whether students are successful.

When designing an online course module, one of the most important aspects of the course is the CONSISTENCY of the format, layout, structure, and time needed to complete modules. 

The teacher's management of different student personalities, behaviors, and need for assistance will be an important factor in student success. Students may not accurately predict the amount of work necessary for online courses. Reaching out to support students when they are feeling alienated for various reasons will be an important part of your work as a teacher.

It is important for effective teachers to establish authority and build relationships with their students, even through the course is virtual. This includes providing info(with credentials, etc) about oneself, and asking students to share their own biographies.
