I learned to continue to push my students and to show them how important adaptability and flexibility are in real life.

This course reinforced the importance of soft skills such as good communication (listening, speaking, writing). Soft skills help you build relationships and solve problems to use your hard skills to their full extent.

I believe this module was probably the most interesting lesson. I think I already using this, in concept I guess. I use this for virtual field trips. There are other simulations that I would be interested in accessing, but that most have to be purchased. I teach finance and I know there are VR simulations available to further enhance the lesson for the students.

The lesson taught me that although mobility of information is a good thing, students much be able to access the information in front of them quickly. We need to make sure they use credible resources when searching the internet and ensure that the author is credible.

I learned that although we already use multiple ways to communicate (send messages) we need to be sure to be intentional about how many different ways we send messages. Messages can be received via email, text messages, video, audio, etc. Technology is ever-evolving and we need to find ways to use technology to send and receive messages. Technology offers new ways to communicate literacy.

I love how the lesson shows us how the four parts, reading, writing, speaking, and listening all work cohesively in the comprehension process. We must encourage our students to read our content, but also take notes to enhance the learning of new material. But they also must listen to the teacher during the lesson and be able to speak to (or repeat) in their own words what the lesson was about to ensure they have an understanding of the content.
