I learned that it's ok to aske a student if they are having suicidal thoughts. I thought that was a question I had to work up to. I'll be aware of the symptoms and will speak to my students about it if/when the need arises.

I didn't realize most suicides occur in the spring. I thought it was the winter. I also learned about different warning signs that I wasn't aware of. This will definitely help me with my students.
