I am pleased to see that there are some requirements on email advertising through the CAN-SPAM act, but also feel there needs to be stricter enforcement of the right of advertisers to distribute information. Recently, I received an email from a company I met at a bridal show. They sent me an email with more information about the services they offered for planning a reception. I had no complaints about them contacting me in principle, and they complied with the information listed here about the CAN-SPAM act, but had placed the names and email addresses of all of the brides… >>>
