Hello everyone,

I just completed the EL 103 course and this course provides great insight to constructing and online course. I was very pleased with the content and concise material shared. The course answered areas I had questions about and confirmed the latest development in curricular design.

Hello Renee To reach all learners, I keep my fonts clear and consistent. I integrate a number of different learning methods to reach various learners. By reaching multiple learners - no learner will lack proper help and resources and delivery of content is for all students in the course. Brigitte Powell
Hello Renee The one speech recognition feature which I personally use and is used by thousands of people is Dragon Speech. Personally, I use this feature to slim down the time it takes to type up my doctoral papers. I think this is a great and inexpensive way for students who are challenged to type school work. With pros there are cons, such as typos due to the fact that the software does not always recognize words or confuse words such as face with phases. Brigitte Powell

Hello Renee At my university, we work closely with both student advising and the disability office to ensure that students with disabilities are accommodated in the proper manner with proper documentation, student outreach, allow additional time for students on assignments, and extra help via phone, tutoring, or email. Hello Renee I have facilitated courses with all walks of life and students who are visually impaired. I would like to note that this can prove to be a challenge as assignments evolved around analyzing primary source documents. I mentioned this to my dean and was able to integrate audio describing the documents and assign students, visually impaired, to content tutors who continue to work with students until success is reached. Hello

I just finished a really great course on Rubrics (EL 109.) This course is a must for all online teachers because from time to time we will probably find ourselves in a situation where we as facilitators needs to either write or refine excising rubrics within our courses or departments. EL 109 will certainly add that extra enhancement and clarify any misconceptions to create a dynamic rubric for the online environment. The course will even provide external websites where you may like to draw information and ideas from to create that rubric just right for you setting.

Hello

I found this course extreemly informative and helpful in my professional carrer. I highly recomend this course to other professionals who are involved with online teaching. I learned much about student behavior and this is always helpful...

Hello

I just finished the EL 101 course and it was quite informative on how to construct online courses. I really liked the links to be able to download templates and learn how to properly balance multimedia, quizzes, lectures, and discussions to achieve the desired learning outcomes. I really appreciate the simple layout of the course and it was very easy to navigate. I highly recommend this course to every online facilitator.

Hello

I just finished the 107 course and it was very interesting to learn how to integrate a more blended learning into my classroom. The Internet and information which has been made available to us in  Age of Information and Technology can certainly boost students learning like never before. I really enjoyed learning about integrating technology and new teaching methods which I am eager to bring into my classroom.

I just finished my first course which was LE 106. It enhanced my learning about online system management tools for assessing students in the virtual classroom. I found the course well worth and interesting.
