Activity

As a welding instructor, the majority of my instruction is hands on. Students obviously have to get their hands dirty, so to speak, to learn to weld. This course has given me a new respect for other forms of learning that my students could benefit from.

All students are different so instructors must stay flexible and adapt to varying student needs.

Knowing that passive learning is sometimes the best way to get general information out to students. Students can then transition into active learning, using what they have learned in a more hands on practice.

Students learn more when they take ownership of their learning opportunities. This takes planning from the instructor to accomplish.
