This section is a good reminder of when to use certain tests and tips on how to write the questions appropriately for each type of question so students are not confused.

I loved some of the ways to use questions in class and how to handle situations when you do not know the answer or when students do not have any questions. Great ideas!

Make sure you use a variety of learning styles for your students. Avoid using your personal preference since you may miss some of the learning styles in the process.

This module had some great tips for working with your students that have learning disabilities. Communication is key and I like the idea of having cues between you and your students.

It is important for students in college to advocate for themselves since no one is going to be there to make sure they get the accommodations they may need to be successful.

It is hard to assess and diagnose learning disabilities and they are lifelong.

Learning disabilities is not just one disability and we need to be aware of any disabilities our students may have. Reading comprehension is so important at an early age. If the students have any disabilities it is important we remember they most likely want to learn and we need to be there to help them achieve their goals.

Address a mistake with humor so your students see you as a real person.

Ways to work with silent students - groups, share experiences, get to know them outside of class and student panels. These are all great suggestions.

This website can give you jobs and descriptions to use when assigning students to each position in a group.
