I am a CPC with 20 + years experience in both billing and coding . I worked as a Accounts recievable clerk, Accounts payable, Medical records clerk. I have been a Unit clerk, for 1 year I was a rual postal carrier. I was Instructor and came back to instruct.

I have learned the CMS management system, review class rosters as well as view student profiles . find out about turnaround times for student inquiries. conditions underwhich you can grant extensions. find a expert in technology and software mulfunctions .instrructional straties.
More empathy and applying what has been learned.
empathy matters, We don't lower our standard , but if thew student feels cared about , known , respected, they are more motivated to rise to the goals.
I like the situation game. I think that would help students.
I will ensure to create a dynamic learning environment for all students making sure they are learning what is in the standard based curriculum.
I think it is great to dicuss with students what they would like to get out of the course as far as goals. Also understanding that the course may be diverse, but that shouldn't chage the learnibg process for anyone.
