Activity

Make sure you revise and evaluate your course over time and make improvements based on the feedback of your students peers and self.

Give positive feedback, and avoid overanalyzing and commenting too much on your feedback on an assignment.

Determine how much communication will be effective in your class from the involved parties. Make sure to encourage communication as well.

Make sure you have a consistent module in regards to length, look, style, and organization. With objectives clearly laid out.

There are many challenges in the e-learning environment that instructors and students can face. We need to keep records of conversations. We need to handle behavioral problems by identifying their learner profile and go about the best resolution. Be proactive and remind students that there are help and resources if they need them.

Learning the difference between the best times to use asynchronous vs synchronous. When it comes to discussions it is important to maintain the focus of the discussion and not it let drift too far from the lesson at hand. When in synchronous discussion allow for time in the session for socializing at he beginning and parting remarks at the end. And give feedback in a timely manner, that builds confidence even when when there are times you are being critical.

Establish your presence and authority with students in a positive way, and also showcase your credentials and experience so learners trust your knowledge and information. Get to know them on a personal level to make them more comfortable in the learning environment.

We need to  present the information through interactive learning to help the content stick with the student better. Also make sure you know your online platform very well before beginning a class with a student so you can help navigate and answer any questions about the CMS they may have to make them feel more confident which will lead to better comprehension and learning.
