I have learned that planning and preparation are key to success as an instructor. I plan to take many of these suggestions and use them as I start my first class and then tweak anything that is good or not working to meet my needs to facilitate for my students.
I have learned that preparation, switching teaching methods, standing on company values and SOP, and facilitating students education are great approaches to becoming an effective instructor.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
