Being ready to go 15 minutes before students arrive models the professional skills we are asking of our students. It is important to show interest in your teaching rather than focusing on showing how smart you are, as this will help engage your students.

Combining a work-based learning framework with the professional use of technology prepares students for real-world experience, ensuring they receive "snapshots" of the real world workplace.

IEP and 504 plans are important strategies for ensuring all students have equal opportunities to learn materials and take quizzes/tests.

Having a lesson plan is essential for students to understand that you are prepared with a well-thought-out lesson for the day or week. It is also important to be flexible and allow the lesson to adapt to student engagement and learning levels.

Formative and summative assessments are a good method of guiding students with the means to help them understand and get the most out of the lessons.

I like the asking students to participate in learning objectives, leaving room for them to help the lessons grow in a way that helps engage them.
