Activity

I would like to apply the Incentives Program. I think it would be great if the alumni that send job leads could get incentives for assisting with job placement. I also think the job retention incentives is a great idea also.

I learned about something that I don't really focus on but will use in future trainings. In the near future I will teach the students more about cold calling. It is something that I do often. I think that it is beneficial to add to their job search skills.

I learned about the various resouces you can use to find employers. It is helpful to create a schedule, research people in the key positions, create google alerts and ways to rebuttal if an employer is not interested or had a previous bad experience.

I learned some more innovative tactics that I can use to assist employers, which in turn, will help our students. It was interesting to find out that some employers spend $4,000 annually to fill positions. It is amazing how much an employer could save by relying on us to help fill job vacancies. I will definitely implement the suggestions given in the near fututre.
