We must ensure that the students we work with receive all the required documents during the enrollment process. We must ensure complete transparency about the enrollment requirements and keep students fully informed of any changes along the way.  

I learned the importance of staying up to date on state regulations and maintaining compliance not only with the State of Florida but also within the university. This will be an important part of my role as an enrollment advisor.

This module is important to me as an advisor because I need to ensure I am discussing the program's expectations, such as signing the enrollment agreement and ensuring that the students I am working with have access to all information for the program and university. It is also important that I am being compliant in my conversations with the students.

During this module, I learned why being up-to-date on our institution's policies and procedures is imperative. I also did not realize that the course needed to be completed yearly; however, this ensures that we are compliant and giving students, prospective students, and other people the information needed.
