This course provided various effective methods for making phone calls a powerful selling tool. I have worked in sales in the past, and during this course realized some of the pitfalls I fell into. First of all, I would call at the same time. I failed to use humor when leaving voice mails. I also failed to have a sense of urgency. I am excited about using these techniques in future business. 

This course was very interesting because it dealt with how we commuicate with others on a variety of levels. For me personally, the majority of my interaction with students is written communication via email. Although I already had an understanding of the importance of checking your writing before sending it off, after this course i realized that refining and polishing one's writing is more essential than I realized.
