Be prepared before starting your new class. Introductions are important to show students you care about them and they'll more likely want to be a part of what you are instructing 

Be prepared so you can be organized and use time efficiently. 

Look the part, come in well dressed and in order. Show respect and earn the classes respect. Be a leader by example.

Words you use can determine how your class is going to respond to your instructions. We want to use words that encourage students to participate in the classroom and fell the want to learn the material you are teaching.
